Foley Public Schools will be having a School Nutrition Program Administrative Review. The administrative review is how a State Agency (SA), which is the MDE, assesses and SFA's administration of the USDA National School Lunch Program, School Breakfast Program and other School Nutrition Programs. The objectives of the Administrative Review are to:
- Determine whether the SFA meets program requirements
- Provide technical assistance
- Secure any needed corrective action and assess fiscal action
- When applicable, recover improperly paid funds
The review scope is set by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) for use by all states and territories participating in the School Nutrition Program. The onsite review dates will be the first full week of November. The site chosen is the Foley Intermediate School.
