FHS Daily Announcements - Wednesday, April 16th  

-Students, we need your help! A great deal of trash has been left in the locker bay area after flex and Lunch. We are asking you to throw away your own garbage and help keep this area clean. If we continue to have garbage left in the locker bay area you will be restricted to the lunchroom area only.

-Elementary PTO Spring Carnival is on Friday, May 2nd and is still  looking for more volunteers to help! If you are interested in volunteering, complete this google sheet. Please reach out to Traci in the Elementary school office if you have any questions.  

this will look good on scholarship applications in the future :)

On Tuesday, April 22nd a grade review will be conducted.. If you have any grade that is a D- or lower you will be restricted for Flex beginning on Thursday, 4/24/25 and lasting for three weeks. If you are on the restricted list you are required to stay in your assigned flex period (unless allowed to leave at teacher request).

If you would prefer to have freedom of movement and choice during your flex time, we encourage you to make every effort possible to have all grades at least a D or higher by Thursday 4/17/25.

Students who are on the restricted list will receive an email. If you believe an error was made when the new list is announced, please see Mrs. Gann.

To be taken off the restricted list, please ensure that your teacher emails Mrs. Gann to request your removal.

-The Deficiency List will be run on Thursday, April 17th.  If you currently have a failing grade in any of your classes, you will be unable to participate in extracurricular competitions or activities effective Thursday, April 24th. Please take this time to contact your teachers about how to bring your grade up to passing.

-CORRECTION: Marching Band Practice will start on Thursday April 24th from 6:00-8:30pm in the high school band room. Students in grades 7-12 are eligible to join marching band.  See Mrs. Hesch or Mrs. Darling for questions.

*Flint Hills Resources Discovery Scholarship $2500  - Due April 22 @ 3:30pm to FHS Guidance Office 

*Integracare Clinic Scholarship $500 - Due May 2nd to FHS Guidance Office
