FHS Daily Announcements - Wednesday, March 5th

-The After School Program will not meet tomorrow 3/6 due to MOC time. Please plan to meet with your teachers if you need to finish anything up. 

 

- Students are to stay out of the Academic Hall’s (this includes the Gym Hallways) during Lunch, and should stay in the Cafeteria and Lunch Bay Area only! 

 

-Next FFA Chapter meeting is March 12th, after school in the ag room. Meal and beverages will be provided.

 

-Earing found. Identify and claim in the main office.

 

-Starting next Monday the Media Center will be a NO PHONE ZONE, including during Flex. The media center should be a place that students can go to study, if you want to be on your phone during Flex you will need to go to the cafeteria. 

 

-There will be a Unified Basketball practice during FLEX on Wednesday in the gym.  

 

-Ms.Hesch will be hosting a UNIFIED BASKETBALL POSTER MAKING SESSION in the band room on Thursday during FLEX.  We would love to see a lot of support from the student body in the stands on March 13th.

 

-The Unified Basketball team will be taking on the Milaca Unified team next Thursday at 1:00PM in the high school gym.  We would love to make this a spirit wear day.  Wear blue and white to support your Falcon Unified Team!!!! 

 

-Baseball meeting Thursday at 3:00 in Mr. Beier's room

 

-Anyone interested in participating in track and field this spring, practice starts next Monday, March 10. Meet in the field house at 3:05.

-Supreme Court and My Hometown programs -This immersive federal court experience is free for high school students

Twin Cities, July 21-25 or Duluth, July 28-August 1

Throughout the program, students will explore the judicial branch through the lens of a local First Amendment case, Near v. Minnesota (1931). They will engage with federal judges, attorneys, historians, professors, and community members to investigate the case and gain an in-depth understanding of how it moved through the federal court system. As a culminating activity, the students will create a unique capstone project to educate their community about the impact of the case and the federal court system. Due: April 25, 2025
