FHS Daily Announcements - Thursday, February, 20th

-Seniors: TODAY is the last day to turn in your Local Scholarship packet. No packet will be accepted after 3:30! 

-Reminder there will be a prom committee meeting Friday morning in Mrs. Keating's classroom.  Meeting will begin at 7:30AM.

-Auditions for the spring play will be on Tuesday February 25 from 3:00-4:00pm in the Auditorium. Reach out to Ms. Hesch or Ms. Kivel for more information. 

-The final Flex restriction for Trimester 2 was processed on February 14th, and students were notified via email. If you are subject to a restriction, you are not allowed to leave Flex.

-Juniors and Seniors: If you are interested in the Military and would like to take the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery test, please sign up with Kristi in the Guidance Office by Tuesday, February 25th. (We do have the option to offer a Spring test if we have students interest.)   **Taking the ASVAB does not commit you to anything, but a military recruiter may contact you. The ASVAB can help you determine your own interests and aptitude, even if you are not planning to enter the military or are undecided. You will receive a valid scores for enlistment.

-Students will be handing in their registration sheets and will not be required to stay in Flex today. Bring your completed registration form signed by parent/guardian to Flex to be turned in. If you are absent on this day bring your completed registration form to the Guidance Office.

-Are you interested in competing on the Spring Trap Team?  If so you need to attend the informational/registration team meeting on Thursday Feb. 20, 2025 in the FIS Media Center.  New members to the team will meet at 6pm.  Returning Members meet at 7:30pm.  Any questions please reach out to Mr. Kobienia.

-Rescheduled! Attention Juniors: There will be an informational meeting on Thursday, February 20th during Flex in the Auditorium for any Junior interested in attending Boys/Girls State this summer. Boys/Girls State is a weeklong opportunity to learn about local Government. It is fully funded by the Local Legion/Legion Auxiliary. 

Lunch Line 1: Grilled Cheese, Tomato Soup or Chili, Goldfish, Veggies, Banana, Apple Crisp

Lunch Line 2: Hot Dog w/ Bun, Tomato Soup or Chili, Goldfish, Carrots, Banana, Fruit Cup

Lunch Line 3: Cheeseburger Soup, Goldfish, Bosco Cheese Stick, Garden Salad, Veggies, Banana, Fruit Crisp

BREAKFAST for TODAY: Cinnamon Roll, Fruit Juice, Apple Slices 

BREAKFAST for TOMORROW: Smoothie, Craisins, Graham Crackers
