FHS Daily Announcements

-Any Senior interested in playing college athletics should attend an informational meeting about NCAA eligibility on Wednesday, February 26th during Flex in room 318. 

-FFA meeting tomorrow 2/12 starting at 3:15 in the Ag room. Snacks will be provided. 

-On Friday, February 14th a grade review will be conducted. If you have any grade that is a D- or lower you will be restricted for Flex beginning on Wednesday, February 19th and lasting for three weeks. If you are on the restricted list you are required to stay in your assigned flex period (unless allowed to leave at teacher request).

If you would prefer to have freedom of movement and choice during your flex time, we encourage you to make every effort possible to have all grades at least a D or higher by Friday, February 14th.

Students who are on the restricted list will receive an email. If you believe an error was made when the new list is announced, please see Mrs. Gann.

-It's that time of year again.  Candy-Grams for Valentine's Day.  All week long you may purchase a candy-gram to be sent to your crush, BFF, sibling, favorite teacher or even yourself!  Candy-grams are being sold in the cafeteria in the morning and at lunch for $1 each or 3 for $2.  Include who it's going to, who it's from an appropriate message and that person's first period teacher for distribution on February 14th, Valentine's Day

-There will be a Unified Meeting on Wednesday in the FHS gym during FLEX

-Mandatory Post Secondary Enrollment Options  informational sessions for parents/students interested in participating in PSEO for the 2025-2026 school year. 

*Current PSEO students who plan to continue next school year do not need to attend. 

*If you attended an informational session last year but your student did not participate in PSEO for the 2024-2025 school year, you must attend one of these sessions.

*All presentations will be held in the Foley High School Media Center

*Please plan to attend ONE of the sessions listed below. 

• Tuesday, February 25th – 7:00 am - 7:30 am

• Wednesday, February 26th – 5:30 pm - 6:00 pm

If you have any questions, stop in the Guidance Office.

-Colorguard & Drumline for Marching Band: We will start rehearsal Tuesday 2/11 from 3:00-5:00pm in the high school band room.  A full schedule of rehearsal will be available at the meeting. If you are unable to attend, reach out to Mrs. Hesch. (This is just for percussion & colorguard flags, no horns or honor line yet)

Upcoming required Flex Meetings: Students should go directly to the Auditorium after 1st period - do not check into Flex. See Kristi or one of the Counselors with questions.

February 12th - - 10 th Grade: Pre Act Results for all who took the PreACT
