12/3/24 FHS Daily Announcements - Tuesday, December 3rd -Ring found: Identify/Claim in the main High School Office.
-There will be a unified meeting tomorrow in the high school gym during FLEX. We will be putting the finishing touches on the Christmas party. Come and enjoy some hot chocolate and bring a friend.
-The first Knowledge Bowl meeting and practice is this Wednesday December 4th from 3:00-5:00 pm in Mr. Hommerding's room. Feel free to stop by for an informational packet ahead of time. Practices are open to all, so come and see what Knowledge Bowl is all about.
-The Deficiency List for Tri 1 will be run on Friday, December 6th. Any student that receives an F on their trimester report card will be deemed ineligible for their next extracurricular activity beginning on Monday, December 9th. Parents and Coaches will be notified. Please plan accordingly and utilize the Multiple Opportunity Cycle to bring your trimester grade to a passing level.
- According to the Foley Public School Handbook Schedule changes that occur after the start of the trimester need to be completed by the conclusion of the 3rd day of the trimester. See a guidance counselor if you have questions.
-FFA Members - All Member meeting on Wednesday December 4th at 3:15pm in Mr. Frenchick’s classroom.
-FFA Fruit will be delivered on Friday December 6th. Must be picked up after school. If you have have any questions please talk to Mr. Frenchick’s
-The After School Credit Recovery Program will not meet this week
-The After School Credit Recovery Program is for students who have failed a course or standard required for graduation. The After School Credit Recovery Program will meet on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 3:00-4:00pm. Students are required to attend two days per week. If you have failed a course and are interested in completing it in the after school program see Kristi in the Guidance Office. There are a limited number of spots available so it is important to get the paperwork back ASAP. This program starts on Monday, December 9th.
-The After School Drop-In program is for students who need extra help and support on current homework. The After School Drop-In Program will be available on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 3:00-4:00pm. If you are interested in this program see Kristi in the Guidance Office. -College Wear Day is Wednesday! Wear your favorite college gear!
