FHS Daily Announcements - Wednesday, November 6th

-Unified Sweatshirts are available to purchase online through Henry Embroidery's website.  Here is the link: https://foleyunificlub.itemorder.com/shop/home/. The store will be open through November 17th.  

-There will be a Unified Meeting TODAY in the wrestling room during FLEX.  Come ready for some announcements of up and coming events.  We will also be playing BINGO.  There will be prizes awarded during the BINGO game.  See you there!

The After School Program will not meet today due to conferences. Have a great weekend!

-The votes are in and the theme for 2025 is: ENCHANTED EVENING.  Prom 2025 will take place on Saturday, May 10th.  Grand March will be held in the FHS Gymnasium and the dinner and dance will take place at Northern Lights Ballroom in Pease, MN.    Those who are interested in joining the prom committee but have not been able to attend a meeting should see Mrs. Keating ASAP to be added to the google classroom and find out about an upcoming service project.

-FFA Members order forms and money from fundraisers are Due on Monday the 11th to Mr. Frenchick

FFA meeting that was scheduled for next week on wednesday, is postponed to later in november.

-On Friday, November 8th a grade review will be conducted at 2:00 PM. If you have any grade that is a D- or lower you will be restricted for Flex beginning on Monday 09/30/24 and lasting for three weeks. If you are on the restricted list you are required to stay in your assigned flex period (unless allowed to leave at teacher request).

If you would prefer to have freedom of movement and choice during your flex time, we encourage you to make every effort possible to have all grades at least a D or higher.

Students who are on the restricted list will receive an email. If you believe an error was made when the new list is announced, please see Mrs. Gann

-Juniors and Seniors: If you are interested in the Military and would like to take the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery test, please sign up with Kristi in the Guidance Office by Thursday, November 7th.   The test will be given here at FHS on Thursday, November 14th during 4th and 5th period. **Taking the ASVAB does not commit you to anything, but a military recruiter may contact you. The ASVAB can help you determine your own interests and aptitude, even if you are not planning to enter the military or are undecided. You will receive a valid scores for enlistment.

-Anyone interested in being a mat stat for this year's wrestling season please send an email to by Friday, November 15th. Training dates for mat stats will be on Wednesday, November 20th, Thursday, November 21st and Friday, November 22nd. 

 -All students: Big Brothers Big Sisters is looking for more High School students to volunteer as Bigs - especially Big Brothers!  Stop in the Guidance Office for more information.
