| ADVANCED WOODWORKING Grades: 11, 12; 2 Term, 1 Year Long, Ability = Advanced, Prerequisite = Beginning Woodworking & Basic Cabinet Construction, passing grade in 1st Term, fee involved This course is for students of advanced ability levels. The students select their own project and develop plans and procedures used to produce it. Machines and their uses will be studied in more detail. Basic skills from previous wood classes will be developed. Examples of some of the projects students can choose from are: gun cabinets, chests, desks, tables, bookshelves, hutches and entertainment centers. Students can also restore and refinish old furniture. |
