BASIC CABINET CONSTRUCTION Grades: 9, 10, 11, 12; 1 Term, Ability = Average, Prerequisite = Beginning Woodworking, fee involved Basic Cabinet Construction is a term course for students of average ability. Cabinet, door, and drawer construction will be the main focus. Students will spend time planning, designing and making working drawings of a cabinet. Different types of wood joints and how they are used in the cabinet will be covered. This course must be taken prior to Advanced Woodworking. Students will have the opportunity to use a laser engraver to enhance their projects. |
