| MARKETING: SCHOOL STORE OPERATIONS Grades: 11, 12; Term 1 and 2, Prerequisite: Completion of 2 courses in the business education track
Come help us operate the FHS school store! This class is designed to provide you with the opportunity to actually operate a retail store. Students will learn all phases of a business operation, including: ordering and stocking of merchandise; inventory control; cash register operation; advertising and display; employee orientation; accounting; and online retail sales. There are two parts to this class: The classroom and the store (laboratory). In the classroom, you will collaborate to fully understand retail operations in order to successfully run and operate the school store. Operating the store will consist of marketing students taking the lead in operations during Foley Falcon home events! |
