| CERAMICS & SCULPTURE THROWING/COLLEGE THROWING Grades: 10, 11, 12; 1 Term, 3 College Credits, Prerequisite: Introduction to Art College credit requirements: Accuplacer score 56 reading comprehension or 1047 MCA reading score and a 3.0 GPA 11th grade or a 2.5 GPA 12th grade This course will build upon three-dimensional skills and concepts from Ceramics and Sculpture. Students will make a portfolio of work emphasizing wheel throwing as well as hand building, molding, mixed media and surface techniques. Students will advance in critical analysis and presentation of their work. (*For the purpose of scheduling this course it may be offered at the same time as Ceramics and Sculpture Handbuilding.*)
