STRENGTH AND CARDIO TRAINING Grades: 9, 10, 11, 12; 1 Term, Elective This is a class for the motivated student who is interested in learning how to utilize the fitness center safely and efficiently while gaining strength, flexibility, and confidence. Instruction in the use of free weights as well as the cardiovascular equipment and training methods will be strongly emphasized. Students who are self-motivated and enjoy working out will excel in this class. This course may be taken twice in a student's high school career. |
