| BIOLOGY Grade 10; 2 Terms, Required, Ability = All Students are to complete 2 terms of biological science to meet the graduation guidelines of Foley Senior High. Benchmarks will be covered as stated in the “Life Science” (Grade 9-12) strands of the standards. Also included will be topics concerning the “Nature of Science and Engineering.” Scientific inquiry will be the fundamental process that will guide students throughout the year. This course will include: cell biology, genetics, biological evolution, ecology and natural cycles, interdependence of organisms, physiology of invertebrates and vertebrates, and the biodiversity of life. |
