| MEDICAL TERMINOLOGY Grade 11, 12; 1 Term, Required, Ability = All, General Elective Credit This course is intended for those students interested in pursuing a career in the medical field. The goal of the course is to help students develop the extensive medical vocabulary used in occupations found in health care. Students will gain knowledge of medical terminology through studying root words, prefixes and suffixes. This course is completed through an online program called Edgenuity with the support of a classroom teacher. |
