| PERSONAL FINANCE Grades: 10, 11, 12; 1 Term, Ability = All,  Students will be able to receive credit at St. Cloud Technical College for the course Personal Money Management required in the Credit and Finance program if the requirements are met. This class could also be used as an elective in several other programs at the Technical College. Details will be explained by the teacher in class.In Personal Finance you will learn how to navigate the financial decisions you must face and to make informed decisions related to behavioral finance, budgeting, banding, credit, insurance, spending, taxes, saving, investing, buying/leasing a vehicle, and living independently. Development of financial literacy skills will provide the basis for responsible citizenship and career success. This is a must have class for all students who want to learn valuable life skills beyond high school. |
