| CERAMICS & SCULPTURE HANDBUILDING/COLLEGE HANDBUILDING Grades: 10, 11, 12; 1 Term, 3 College Credits, Prerequisite: Introduction to Art College credit requirements: Accuplacter score 56 reading comprehension or 1047 MCA reading score and a 3.0 GPA 11th grade or a 2.5 GPA 12th grade This course will cover three-dimensional sculpture and pottery. Ceramics will cover the hand construction of pottery, glazing, and critical analysis. Sculpture will include additive, subtractive, and constructive methods using a variety of materials. Introduction to Art required previously (*For the purpose of scheduling; only seniors will be allowed to take Introduction to Art in conjunction with this course*).
