FHS Daily Announcements - Wednesday, December 20th 

-The media center will be closed today at 3:00 PM to staff and students 

-FHS office will close at 3:30 today

-The Unified Christmas party is tonight!  We are watching the grinch, decorating cookies, and there will be some games.  Don't forget to wear your holiday gear.  See you tonight from 5:30PM-7:30PM in the FHS cafeteria.

-12/20: The After School Program will not meet tomorrow. We will meet on 1/2 when we return. Credit Recovery students: work on your courses over break!

-Seniors: Holiday break is the perfect time to work on scholarships!

Scholarships offered by Community Giving are open and ready for you to apply! Multiple Scholarship opportunities are available, be sure to verify the eligibility requirements when applying!  Deadline is March 1st

Scholarships that state: Deadline: See school guidance office

                                  Online Application: Other (High school, college, etc.)

These Scholarships will be included in FHS Local Scholarship Packet that will open for student in February. More information to come on this packet at a later date. 

-The Deficiency List will be run on Thursday, December 21st .  If you currently have a failing grade in any of your classes, you will be unable to participate in extracurricular competitions or activities effective Tuesday, January 2nd. Please take this time to contact your teachers about how to bring your grade up to passing.  

-This week on Thursday at 11:35 AM a grade review will be conducted. If you have any grade that is a D- or lower you will be restricted for Flex beginning on Tuesday 1/2/24 and lasting for three weeks. If you are on the restricted list you are required to stay in your assigned flex period (unless allowed to leave at teacher request).

If you would prefer to have freedom of movement and choice during your flex time, we encourage you to make every effort possible to have all grades at least a D or higher by Friday.

If you believe an error was made when the new list is announced, please see Mr. McMorrow.
