FHS Daily Announcements - Friday, September 29th

-There will be no second chance breakfast on Monday or Friday next week. Please plan accordingly. 

-11th grade PowderPuff Football Practice - Sunday, October 1st 6-7:30 PM and Pre-Game Practice Wednesday, October 4th 5:30-6/6:30 PM. Practice will be held on the Varsity Football Field

-11th grade PowderPuff Volleyball Practice - Sunday, October 1st 10-11:30 AM. Practice will be held in the High School Gym

-A ring has been found.  Please claim / identify in the main FHS office

-A Shoe was found in the parking lot. Identify and claim in the main FHS office

-Students who have unserved detention are not allowed to go to the Homecoming Dance.

-Seniors: Reminder to watch for college application deadlines. (Example: November 1st is the deadline for the University of Minnesota to receive a decision by January 31st)

If you are bringing a date from a different school to the Homecoming Dance (10/6, after the Football Game) Outside Date forms are available in the media center and must be turned in to the main office by 9/29

f.     Powder Puff 10/4 @ 7 (players arrive by 6:30)

b.    Dance after game until 11:30PM

Attention 11th grade students who are very strong test takers:

The Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test (PSAT) is an optional exam for 11th grade students who test exceptionally well.  Any junior who feels he/she can score in the top ½ of 1% on the PSAT should take the test.  Taking the PSAT and scoring in the top ½ of 1% is the ONLY way to qualify for a National Merit Scholarship.  If you are interested in taking the test, it will be given at Foley High School on Tuesday, October 10th   from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. The registration deadline is Friday, September 29th. A $18.00 fee will be required when you register in the Guidance Office.  Please check in with Mr. Dahlstrom or Ms. McIntire with questions.
